Projects

Streetwise engages with Young People in a wide range of exciting Projects. If you would like to get involved in these or any other projects please speak to a member of the Streetwise Team.

Level Up

Level Up empowers young men from the BAME community to talk about mental health and racism. Streetwise work with Level Up Champions to encourage others to share their experiences, challenge stereotypes, support others and create change.

CALM MINDS

A group for young people to focus on exploring and understanding anxiety and embedding healthy coping strategies in your lives. This will provide you with a toolkit on ways to help you, including mindfulness, healthy sleep and self care techniques.

The group sessions will run from Thursday 22 February between 4pm and 5pm at Streetwise HQ on Dispensary Lane. This program will last 6 weeks.

Youth Board

YouthWise is YOUR opportunity to make a difference in your local community and the wider world around you. Youth Board is a space where your views are heard and acted upon.

EmpowHER

A group for young women, transwomen and non-binary people who have been affected by domestic abuse and/or sexual violence, physical assault or childhood trauma. Group members will experience a safe and supportive environment to explore self-worth, self-care, gender inequality, boundaries in relationships, spotting abusive, controlling or coercive behaviour, assertiveness and rights.

The group sessions will run from Saturday 6th January until Saturday 2nd March, 2:30 – 4pm at Streetwise, with an introductory meeting on Saturday 2nd December at 1pm where you can meet the staff and other young people who may be coming to the group.
