Exercise 2 – Create a Calm Box

What you put in the box is completely up to you, it can be good to get a mix of things that feel good to your different senses – Sight, Sound, Smell, Taste and Touch.

Here are some ideas to get you started:

  • Inspirational quotes
  • Stress ball
  • Comforting objects, such as a smooth pebble, a shell, a pom pom
  • Bubble bath
  • Crisis numbers
  • Relaxing colouring book and crayons
  • Puzzles
  • Note book or journal
